sundays are semi-boring.
mood: x_x
listening to: 花 by ORANGE RANGE (again)
gaijin count: still 31
Okay, wow. Talk about records - blogging 2 days in a row! Right now, I think it is raining again. Apparently Hiroshima got flooded yesterday, and the same storm is moving in towards us here in Nagoya. It's even surprsingly cooler than what it has been these past 2 weeks. Holy crapo.
To answer your questions about the English proficiency of these people, let's just say that I think as long as I use extravagently long words and my messed up slang and grammer, we shall be fine. Host Madre and Host Padre know some English, as well as Rei, but I doubt they can understand my mindless rambling. Even with a dictionary. That said, I am taking some precautions. o.O;
And your other comment about the new Ayu CD...yes, I am going to be here when it comes out. And I'm SO EXCITED. However I have some sad, horrible, yet inevitable news to share with you all.
I am not going to a-nation. ;-; I gave it a week. I knew I had to let these people get to know me, know how obsessed I am with Ayu, etc. I thought I had it pretty good, although I had some doubts. It would have been a lot easier if ORANGE RANGE was with avex. But ALAS. Yesterday I brought up the subject and she said that Oita was too far. WHY!?!?! WHY MUST OITA BE SO FAR?!?!? WHY MUST A-NATION BE ALL IN AUGUST!??!? WHY?????? Oh well. There is always next year. Or SSP or something. But what a letdown.
Nothing much happened today, since I've been home all day. Although at 4:00 we are apparently going shopping. (?) For what and where I know not. I DO know, however, that these people's dog is psycho. o.O;;
GRAH. I cannot believe I've been here for nearly 2 frickin' weeks. It seems like ages ago. And I still have the entire month of July ahead of me. Speaking of July, tomorrow is July 4th. I shall be sporting my American pride all day long tomorrow. Just letting you know. ROFL.
OH YEAH! I finished that idiot Catcher in the (goddam) Rye book! YES! I must say, what a waste of paper. The entire book had virtually NO POINT WHATSOEVER. >.> It was all one giant train of thought. Crashing.Ugh. It was painful. I'm glad though, because it gives me more time to work on the second sentence of Harry Potter, and also to look forward to July 16th, which of course is the day Harry Potter comes out. It also happens to be the day I leave for Tokyo Disneyland with Rei and perhaps an amigo, since I have the 18th off from school. Apparently it's some national holiday called "Sea Day" or something. These people sure have a lot of frickin' national holidays.
HRM. What else to say? Oh yeah, Emmie, I totally LOVED your pictures!! I can't believe Nan dyed her hair bright red! Is it still that way? And Eileen, WTF?!? WHERE IS PETER??
I miss you guys, and I'll try to blog again soon!
JA.

location: Nagoya, Japan
blurb: I'm an American High School girl spending 6 weeks in Nagoya, Japan.
Yes, I know Tokyo Tower isn't in Nagoya, but since I've never been to Nagoya before
(stopping briefly at the train station doesn't count, OK??) I couldn't find any
good pictures that represent it well. Which brings me to my point: I'm a newbie to Nagoya.
(thus the name, nagoya n00b. am I not the cleverest person you've ever met?) Anyways, bear
with me people. This is going to be a long six weeks!
